...of Rahovets, Republic of Kosovo — a small town located about 20 km northwest of Prizren. In the region, the locals are known at "Bugarski" ot "Bulgari" because of the history of their historical affiliation to Bulgaria, for which there are different views. Their speech is also known as "Bulgarian" or "Bugarishtja". According to the Serbian linguists, dialects in Kosovo are presented as part of the Serbian language. In separate publications in Kosovo, Rahovets' traditional speech is defined as mixed and special emphasis is places on elements of Albania, Turkish and Persian in it.
