The measures for plant growing, field and meadow forage production on radionuclide-contaminated arable and meadow lands, including the peculiarities of the cultivation of agricultural crops for food, fodder and technical purposes, soil treatment, the use of lime ameliorants, organic, mineral fertilizers and micronutrients, are given.
The features of livestock farming in conditions of radioactive contamination, including the production of milk, beef, pork, lamb and horse meat, the features of feeding cattle and optimization of the feed base, taking into account international requirements for the content of 137 Cs in meat, are formulated.
