The author won the prestigious Magnesia Litera 2025 Award in the Prose category for this book. Everyone is looking forward to a great new century in 1904, in which everything will be beautiful and happy even without magic. Everything as it should be. With imaginative use of magical realism, the novel references the great narratives of the past, from Ulysses to Don Quixote to Tristram Shandy.
