The book is a collection of papers from a scientific conference on "The Fate of Waqf Property in Bulgaria during the Transition from Imperial to National Government", held at Sofia University on October 11, 2019. The conference summed up the results of an eponymous project financed by the Scientific Research Fund of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science.
