The role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the life of the Armenian people is covered in a new way in the book. The church, striving for a special position from the beginning, aimed its activities at the strengthening of spiritual authority and the acquisition of absolute rights towards the Armenians, which often led to the weakening and eventual loss of statehood, and the Armenian people turned into a religious community united around the church.
