The book by German publicist Khmelnitsky is devoted to Russian emigrants from the former USSR, their impossibility, and at times, unwillingness to get rid of ideological blinders of the Soviet era that predetermine certain problems with getting accustomed to a new land. The subject of investigation is how the Soviet ideology has been replaced by national-patriotic ideas, and the migrants' exporting the ideas of racism and nationalism to the West.
