Jolyn Phillips grew up in Gansbaai. She is a Mandela Rhodes Scholar and holds an MA in Creative Writing from UWC. She has been published in "Aerodrome" and the anthologies "This Land I Call Home" and "Ghost Eater and Other Stories2. "Tjieng Tjang Tjerries and other stories" is her first book.
