Kazimir Valishevsky (1849 - 1935) was a widely known scientist, a historian, economist and sociologist. His works were republished tens of times and got the readers’ recognition long ago. Despite Valishevsky’s appraisals and conclusions might seem arguable today, his story about the Time of Troubles is still the best one for the number of little-known factual materials and true psychological portraits of the characters.
