You are holding in your hands the second edition of the book by L. D. Yudina. The heir to the throne took the Saka mud in 1913 and in 1916 to treat the effects of hemophilia, and Tsarevich Alexei recovered, just like many sufferers recover at the unique Saka resort. The book is well illustrated, there are many old photographs and postcards. The documentary nature of the material gives it a special value.
The second edition is supplemented with new historical information about the Holy Royal Family of Nicholas II, G. E. Rasputin and A. A. Vyrubova. You may ask: "What does Anna Vyrubova and Grigory Rasputin have to do with it?" These two remarkable personalities were insidiously slandered by the enemies of Russia, and the train of this lie still insults the bright memory of them. They are slandered not by the Russian people, but by completely different forces. This is evidenced by archival sources, eyewitness memories and other historical materials published in this publication.
