The undivided opinion of the participants of the conference is that Slavism, as a sense of belonging to a homogeneous ancestral people, as throughout its long history, is still under the great influence of Western hegemonic globalism. Russia is particularly exposed to this as the pillar and backbone of the Pan-Slavic world. The effort, above all by the US, to wage a hybrid war with Russia, with the selfless assistance of the EU, as a prelude to the final reorganization of the new world order as a unipillar dominion of the most powerful Western states, is today the most serious challenge to the unity and survival of Slavs. Unfortunately, unsettled relations, open antagonisms and unresolved territorial and other issues between countries in which the Slovenian peoples are dominantly organized contribute to these efforts.
