This book is dedicated to some of the current problems of the rule of law in the Republic of Bulgaria. In particular, it focuses on key topics related to the Constitutional Court, constitutional justice and the judiciary. The topics have been selected to be relevant to both the theory and practice of constitutionalism and constitutional law. The aim of the compilers and authors is to offer a critical analysis of problems that have long awaited their solution through constitutional or legislative reform or should receive adequate theoretical conceptualization to give impetus to the further development of constitutional discourse in the fields of constitutional and ordinary justice.
The first section examines the system of institutes for access to constitutional justice, in particular to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The second section analyzes the effects of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria, and also offers a chapter that contains a comparative analysis.
