With his new book, Lubomir Vejrazka follows up on two titles, in which he also dealt with often neglected topics related to communist repression and their insufficient reflection by contemporary society. In 2012, Unhealed Wounds of the Nation was published, in which he described the internal dramas of the counterparts of political prisoners and the tragic experiences of divided families. In 2018, he published a second book entitled Scars Remain - The Legacy of Evil Still Alive, in which he described the experiences of the descendants of political prisoners who grew up without one or even both parents. The author touches with great understanding on the inner worlds of witnesses and describes their ostracization, which they experienced for decades and which in the case of descendants of political prisoners continued to a large extent after 1989.
