Lev Boyarsky is a Tyumen historian and local historian; the author of the book "Tyumen nights" (in collaboration with V. Maas), (2009); the compiler of the collection "Essays of old Tyumen (memoirs of old-timers)" (2011). He is a multiple winner of the "Book of the Year" award in the nomination the "Best local history book". This edition is a continuation of the series about the history of the photography department in Tyumen. The first book was called "Pioneers of Tyumen photography. 1866-1917" and was published in 2016.
