The book presents the history of 1946 as a year of choice. The study focuses on the dilemmas of dependence and freedom. It presents the first scenes of lyrical adoration of the communist leader Georgi Dimitrov. The book presents diverse stories, which, collected in the synchronous world of 1946, turn the year into a limit and threshold, but also into a personal, human year.
