The research deals with two problem strata. The first explores different views on spectrum music and definitions to open issues. The second section deals with the reasons for only partial implementation of spectral thinking in the context of the history of Slovene music after the WWII. The analytical part of the discussion points to those compositional solutions of composers of the postmodern era, who nevertheless confirm that spectral music has left some trace even in our country.
