The Alaikuu Valley, part of the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan, made significant leaps in the socio-economic, cultural, and educational spheres in the 20th and early 21st centuries. Many of our ancestors who carried out this process have passed away, and many have become veterans. In his fifth book, historian Sovetbek Butoneev presents a brief documentary account of the Alaikuuluk aydins (including thier administrations, village governments, school principals, and early teachers) who made a significant contribution to the governance and education of villages in this mountainous valley during the period in question.
