The fate of F.Raskolnikov was incredible. He was the leader of the Kronshtadt sailors that were the terror for bourgeois areas of Petersburg during the summer of the year 1917. Raskolnikov was at the same time the person empowered to act on behalf of Lenin and Trotsky during the days of the October Revolution. Being a Civil War hero, a naval commander, a diplomat and writer, he became one of the first non-returnees who dissapointed in the ideals of socialism. Only now it became possible to study his life.
