The collection publishes the results of the study of the city on the Eski-Kermen plateau based on archaeological and archival materials. In the section "Archaeological Research": a detailed list of above-ground temples excavated on the plateau is presented. In the section dedicated to the history of the study of the monument, drawings of the Eski-Kermen plateau and some cave structures made by A. L. Berthier-Delagarde are introduced into scientific circulation; a biographical essay is presented about the Russian and German researcher F. A. Braun, who was actively interested in the history of the Goths in Crimea and archaeological excavations on the Eski-Kermen plateau; based on archival materials, the history of the study of the water supply of the city on the Eski-Kermen plateau is reconstructed in detail.
