The book examines the peculiarities of the poetic language of A.S. Pushkin and his contemporaries. The objective of the author is to explain a lot of places, which seem to be clear, while reading fluently and not very scrupulously. In effect, these abstracts of the classical texts, which are well-known to us, appear to be “dark places”. The analysis is based on the extensive linguistic data of the XVIIIth – XXth centuries.
