The patriotic movement of student detachments entered Soviet and Russian history as an important social phenomenon. The students carried out social work: they held sports competitions, organized concerts, worked with "difficult" teenagers, improved military memorials. The second part of the book is devoted to the modern activities of the student teams of Karelia, which resumed in 2004.
