A documentary book by Totko Naidenov (born 1948), a Bulgarian physician and writer, a member of the Union of Bulgarian Writers who has authored more than 50 books. The present book is about the leaders of the Bulgarian totalitarian regime. It spans the years from the September Uprising of 1923 through the bomb attack at Sofia's St. Nedelya Church in 1925, the communist takeover in Bulgaria in 1944 and the mass killings of intellectuals and military officers, to the forced labor camps of later years. The communist leaders discussed include Georgi Dimitrov, Vasil Kolarov, Valko Chervenkov, Anton Yugov, Traicho Kostov and Todor Zhivkov. The Macedonian question is also highlighted.
