The book analyzes the practice of applying the Federal Law of 29.12.2012 273-FZ "On education in the Russian Federation" over a ten-year period. The authors show the operation of the rules of law defining new or renewed institutions: level approach to education; uniform status of the student; division of subjects into educational organizations and organizations carrying out educational activities; Procedure for State control and supervision of education, etc. Special attention is paid to e-learning of new distance learning technologies, which are actively introduced and discussed in the Russian society in connection with kronovirus restrictions. The authors' conclusions are based on the analysis of normative legal acts of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, as well as judicial practice. They comment on chapters of the law rather than individual articles, which allows to see trends in legislative regulation, enforcement and changes in judicial practice. The publication reflects all significant changes to the Federal Law as of 01.12.2022.
