This essay deals with the history of a scenic choreography of the multinational republic of Daghestan. And thus the ways of development from the very creation of the first dancing studios up to professional companies are traced. Besides the problem of formation of a new republic ballet art is also touched upon. The theme of a scenic interpretation of the ancient folk-dances of Daghestan in monographic plan is investigated for the first time. It is illustrated by the creativity of the artistic directors of leading ensembles.
