The book is dedicated to the exhibition in the Russian Museum, presenting the works painted by M.Skobtsova (mother Maria). It is for the first time that her art activity is presented in an album. She is well known under the name of Kuzmina-Karavaeva, especially to the amateurs of "silver age" poetry, but unfortunately very few people know that she was an outstanding artist. Her paintings, graphic works, the most valued embroideries on biblical subjects are kept in private collections of Europe, America, in the temples of France and England.
