The book represents the result of sixteen years' research conducted by a Belarusian historian on the issue of flotillas on the Belarusian rivers in the XXth century. A special attention is given to the role of the Dnepr flotilla on Ukrainian and Belarusian rivers during the Civil War and the Pinsk flotilla in the autumn of 1941.
