The monograph represents the results of the JANES project, which have two important dimensions. Firstly, built, well-marked and freely accessible corpora and extensive and methodologically completed linguistic studies of a wide range of levels of linguistic descriptions carried out by the members of the project team will undoubtedly enable and encourage further corpus, variant, sociolinguistic research of the online Slovene language. Secondly, the developed resources and tools, and the presented research open key perspectives for language-technology applications for Slovene, which will ensure the full-function information and technology support of Slovene.
