The book is a detailed summary of rare plant species of the natural flora of Kabardino-Balkaria, which are under threat of extinction as a result of anthropogenic factors and changes in the state of the environment. With the approval of the Kabardino-Balkar branch of the Russian Botanical society, a register of rare flora fractions with elements of analysis is given. Using archival materials, the factors of negative impact on the vegetation cover of the Republic are shown; the history of the creation of a network of protected areas of the CBD and their significance in the conservation of wildlife in the region is given. Specific measures for the protection of rare plants and their populations are proposed.
