The collected articles “Pro Scаenium” are devoted to the topical issues of the theatre and continues the traditions of the literary miscellany “The questions of the Theater” which was published in the Institute of Art Studies from 1965 till 1993. Our today’s life, as well as the theatre, is quite different. Theatricology is more and more concentrated on the theatre past, while theater criticism moves towards the theater periodicals. The aim of the collection is to analyze the theater leading figures’ experience.
