The park was a burial-ground for 50 years. From the 1870s up to the end of the 1920s soldiers of the Russian-Japanese and Civil Wars, foreigners, people who created Vladivostok were buried there. The author Nelli Miz' is a local historian, Honorable Citizen of Vladivostok. The book was published by means of crowdfunding.
