This collection with illustrations by the Leningrad artist Elena Natarevich Fyodor Abramov approved himself during his lifetime, in 1982. A layout was even made, but the book never appeared at that time. Only in 2020, the reader will see the drawings illustrating the writer's book of stories, and will be able to appreciate the work of two talented people for whom the life story of a village family became an opportunity to show the delicate fabric of human relations.
