The book for the first time presents the full history of the emergence and construction of the first summer imperial residence in one of the most picturesque corners of the southern coast of Crimea - Oreanda. The landscape park of Lower Oreanda was the prototype of the parks of other royal and grand ducal estates that appeared later in Livadia, Massandra, Ai-Todor, Miskhor, Koreiz, etc. The park has been partially preserved to this day and in 2025 will celebrate its 200th anniversary. The authors also studied for the first time the history of neighboring estates - Count I.O. Witt in Upper Oreanda and Princess O.P. Dolgorukoy in Kurpaty.
