The complex typological analysis of numeral in Rutul and English are introduced in the monograph. These comparable languages are two polar examples of genealogically and typologically different languages. Distinctive and similar features in the structure, semantics and functions of numerals in two languages have been identified. Special attention is paid to the study of the material of the minority Ritul language due to the insufficient degree of its study.
