Problems of word formation – its structure, asymmetry of its component parts - the signified and the signifier, as well as its functioning in the speech, are considered in the edition. The author analyzes word types and manners of new word formation (affixation, stem-composition, fusion and substantivisation of word combinations, improper and inverse derivation, lexicalization of grammatical forms, conversion) and morphological structure of ready words on the base of Spanish, other Romanic languages and English as the most analytical language. Particular attention is paid to the principal distinction between morphological and word-formative word structure, between methods of morphological and word-formative analysis, as well as comparison of morphological structure of Spanish nouns and verbs.
