A joint project of the publishing house "Adukatsyya i vykhavanne" and the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
As a result of a two-year cooperation between the publishing house and the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, a unique book "Memorable Places of Belarus" with augmented reality in video format was released.
Director of the museum Vladimir Voropaev, in his welcoming speech to the readers, called the book “a kind of guide to the military history of Belarus” and added: “During the peaceful years, numerous memorial complexes and monuments dedicated to the events of those fiery years were created in our republic. Currently, there are about 9 thousand of them. Work in this direction continues. This book is a tribute to the memory of those who laid down their lives in the fight against a cruel enemy, who liberated our country and raised it from ruins. Along with the description of the monuments, the pages of this unparalleled publication tell about the courage and heroism of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters, about the resilience and tragedy of civilians, prisoners of war and prisoners of the ghetto.
