Sergei Yudin was a Russian surgeon. He was arrested in 1948 and convicted of anti-Soviet activities and partnership with the British intelligence service. In prison he wrote several medical works and memoirs about his life. After his sudden death in 1954 his nurse M. Golikova published “Selected works” by Yudin. This book contains Yudin’s memoirs, essays about his trip to the USA, records of interrogations in 1951-1952.
