A girl from Lithuania flies to New York, dreaming of meeting the poet and filmmaker Jonas Mekas. The very next day, she meets him in the archive of avant-garde films, "Anthology". Mona starts volunteering here, watching a lot of "different" movies and just celebrating life. At the same time, she gets a job at the Ukrainian restaurant "Veselka" a few streets away, where interesting characters keep sitting at the tables. They tell stories and, oddly enough, everyone either knows Jonas Mekas well or admires him from afar. After hearing about the sunken island once given to Jonas, Mona comes up with the idea to raise it and plant it. The garden does not take long to grow. Alive not only with memories, but also with daily creative energy. In the original form and content of the comic interweaves fiction and documentary, memories and reflections about Jonas Mekas, influences, inspirations and fulfillments. And all this - with a smile.
