The life of Lilia Brik is revealed by her close friend Vassily Katanian (b. 1924). Lilia Brik was a civil wife of the famous Soviet poet Vladimir Mayakovsky and the author knew both of them in person during over 50 years. His notes and Lilia's personal archive, which she willed to the author, underlain the book. A lot of included pictures have never been published before.
