Felix Petrovich Mitrofanov and the students of his scientific school is devoted to the substantiation and allocation of the Kola platinum metal province in the north-eastern part of the Baltic (or Fennoscandian) shield. The book contains materials on the geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, geochronology and petrology of the Fedorovo-Pansky, Monchegorsky, and Imandra paleoproterozoic mafic-ultramafic layered complexes, and presents the results of studies, most of which were carried out under the direct supervision of Felix Petrovich.
