The present two-volume publication includes selected works on Art theory of Wassily Kandinsky, created since 1901 till 1938. These are critical reviews in such periodicals as "Mir iskusstva" ("The World of Art") and "Apollon", theoretical articles and books such as "Spiritual in Art", "A Point and a Line on a Plane", autobiographic book "Stupeni" ("Steps"), articles devoted to pedagogics, painting theory, reports theses, programs and so on.
