The monograph explores the problem of the reception of Italian art of the word, the assimilation of its artistic experience by the literature of Belarus in the 16th–20th centuries. In particular, the main factors that determined the intensification of Italian-Belarusian ties in the 16th century are identified, the patterns and forms of perception of Italian literature by the national art of the word are revealed, the presence and functionality of the achievements of the beautiful writing of Italy in the literary process of Belarus during the 16th–20th centuries are investigated.
