The work is devoted to the development of Kabarda in the regional and all-Russi historical context since the mid of the XVIth century. The incremental process of polith rapprochement, the historic interaction and unity with Russia of the peoples of Kaban has been revealed. In the sequence of their common history, of special note is the era military and political cooperation from the middle of the XVIlth to the last quarter of the XVIIIth century.
The author first introduced into scientific discourse all the miniatures of the Compili Chronicle dedicated to the Russian-Adyghe (Circassian) relations in the second half of the XVIIth century. The appendices contain the unique historical documents of the era und consideration.
