This publication is an attempt to fully analyze the most popular Russian periodicals and some regional newspapers in the light of their attitude to the so-called "women's question". The main task of the research is to trace the trends of reflecting the "women's question", which exist in Russian press, and to show the journalists, mass media researchers, and sociologists the way mass media form women's image in Russia nowadays.
