The monograph, which is the second and significantly revised edition of the work “Formation of the French classical sentence: systemic and structural aspects” published in 1994, includes materials from the author’s research on the historical syntax of the French language. From the position of psychosystematics and, therefore, from a cognitive-semiotic perspective, the monograph examines and analyzes the systemic linguistic and cultural-philosophical processes that determined the development of invariant models of the French classical sentence, entrenched in the language and included in the core of the French syntax system up to the present day. The book is intended for scientists conducting fundamental research in the field of the history of the French language, general and French syntax, taxonomy of language and speech activity (psychosystematics); readers interested in how philosophical, aesthetic and historical and cultural events can have a significant impact on the development of the national language; teachers, graduate students and students.
