This book is called "Historiography of the Soviet occupation of Northern Azerbaijan". With this book, Vagif Shirinoglu presented a new perspective on the historiography of our country, which at the time was part of the USSR, like Soviet Azerbaijan, or rather, forcibly Sovietized. His research, based on numerous sources and archival materials, is a good gift to both our historians and those studying history as a scientific source for various layers of the historiography of the occupation of our country. As you turn the pages of this book, it becomes clear that the history of Soviet Azerbaijan, which was forcibly taught to our citizens the requirements of that period during the Soviet era, has in fact been falsified. It is Vagif Shirinoglu's research that allows us to determine how much work a scientist has done as a result of a more or less comparative view of history.
