Ivan Fylypchak (1871-1945) - Ukrainian writer, Halychyna teacher, co-founder of the museum "Sambirshchyna". In 1944, he was arrested by the Soviet authorities and died in exile the following year. The author of prose works on social, everyday and historical topics. The first volume included the stories: "Za syan!", "Builder of the state", "Ivanko Berladnyk or the lost force". The second volume included the stories: "Princess Romanova", "Dmytro Detko", "Kulchytsky - the hero of Vienna".
