Among the significant amount of literature on the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, this book is unique. After all, she combined scientific research into the history of the Galician Army and the author's personal experience gained during today's Russian-Ukrainian war in Donbass. For the first time in historiography, the author substantiated the expediency of using the term "Ukrainian Army" in the armed forces of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic.
