The study is an attempt to present a mosaic of sociological problems from the border of sociology and literature. A specific variant of the "game with Gombrowicz" is involved, with the hermeneutics he proposed and the methodological framework authored by Walter Benjamin. They constitute the basis for discussing such diverse issues as text interpretation, composition/construction of the study, issues of the world of the presented literary work, social frameworks for interpreting literature, ways of portraying sociology on the pages of a university novel or the specificity of the record of conversations with the writer (and published), as well as - last but not least - the connections between sociological writing and literature.
