The Golden Rhino is a poetic collection not about exotic South Africa, but rather a book about South Africa, which borders on Ukraine on a mental map. It has high mountains and lush flowers with its own charms, ancient fish and the captain of the plane, there are revolutionaries and refugees, penguins on the hot shore, street vendors and a large coastal breeze.
Anna Yanovskaya, author of the book, visited South Africa in 2017 and brought out this golden rhino. It is not quite the fine and jewelry found in the treasures of the ancient kingdom over Limpopo, and not quite its large copy, which stands in the center of Johannesburg. However, this golden rhinoceros is also real, because it - fresh impressions from a distant country, where from under colorful patterns, sharp smells, dizzying landscapes, something to the singing of close and native is seen.
