The monograph is devoted to the study of the historical past and settlement culture of the Gelbakh Valley. This microregion is located in the foothills of Northern Dagestan along the Sulak River. The Gelbakh Valley was an important transit point on the way along the western shore of the Caspian Sea. Author: Khapizov Shakhban Magomedovich is the Candidate of Historical Sciences, researcher at the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Dagestan Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Shekhmagomedov Magomed Gadzhievich is a researcher at the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Dagestan Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
