The book contains 114 documents of both biographical and creative nature: metric certificates and extracts, archival certificates, copies of orders, personal personnel records, autobiography, posters and concert programs, notes, reviews, interviews and other publications in newspapers and magazines, lists of the composer's compositions. Texts of lectures, transcripts of radio speeches, manuscripts of speeches and articles by S.S. Aksakov are especially valuable. Most of the materials are published for the first time.
